Nope, I don’t have Photoshop, or any other photo editing software. It’s just the basics for me, right now anyway. What you see is the picture I took. Now don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have some type of photo editing software, but at the moment spending money on that would take away from the money I’m going to be spending on photography classes, and I’d rather learn some more (about everything) before I jump into purchasing something as expensive as Photoshop. As far as I’m concerned, I need to learn to take great pictures and then I can learn the other stuff and acquire the more expensive stuff.
Besides, I would really like to get a better computer, and I’m thinking about switching to Apple products and getting a MacPro or an iMac, (would love to be able to get both), and I’m going to need an external HD, and the editing software for Mac, as well as MS Office for Mac, and a new printer, AND I’m going to need to get new camera (the professional one). The list goes on, but suffice to say, I know I’d rather wait until I know more about what I’m doing and what I like and what works best for me.
Now, I’m off to grab some coffee and take some pictures. I took this one earlier today after I took the dining room pictures off the wall and hung my “stuff” up above my desk. Our dining room has been converted into “my area.”
